Our members range from producing several market kids per year to individuals who are just learning about them. Our seminars, held several times each year, are geared toward the novice goat raiser but there is always something new to learn. Every member is interested in our marketing plan which is evolving and improving as we proceed.
OMGP began with 14 charter members and has grown to over 360 members, in four states, at this writing. Because our membership has spread widely we have divided into areas and each area has a representative who can meet with their members locally to deal with their concerns and needs.
We have a free (for one year) youth membership for students under 18 as well as a Chair that handles youth programs, shows and other activities.
